Broader Outcomes

The impact of NZ Construction Alliance’s national network and influence has the ability to go well beyond construction.

The NZ Construction Alliance is a tangible industry leader for real regional growth and development from every level, and the government’s broader outcomes mandate has highlighted the additional benefits we can generate in addition to the core scope of a project to achieve greater value across several areas. These include upskilling regional youth, partnering with iwi to creating more opportunities and better outcomes for Māori,, working sustainably to reduce carbon emissions, keeping profit in regions, growing local businesses, sharing knowledge, resources, national networks and beyond.

The far-reaching socio-economic benefits of NZ Construction Alliance has the potential to make real positive change to the people and communities of Aotearoa.

Sustainability Model

The NZ Construction Alliance is Toitu certified Carbonzero and supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s). These are intertwined with the tikanga Māori values of Manakitanga (social), Ōhanga (economic), and Kaitiakitanga (environmental) to ensure that they are relevent to the sustainable construction of buildings in Aotearoa.

Our policy has specific targets to ensure that we are contributing to these global goals that have broader outcomes for the whole community.
